Creating Opportunities and Breaking Down Barriers in Golf
At 10am on Saturday, June 20th, two teams of athletes, celebrities, influencers and golf executives will take to their Peloton Bikes, ride live with Alex Toussaint and race for charity. And you are invited to join! One team will represent PGA WORKS and their Fellowship program, which aims to embrace acceptance and inclusion in the golf industry. Through a one year paid opportunity, the PGA WORKS Fellowship aspires to engage and inspire aspiring talent from all backgrounds to gain first-hand experience in golf operations at one of our 41 PGA Section offices across the country. The other team will ride for LPGA*USGA Girls Golf and the Renee Powell Grant, which will provide opportunities and access to young children in Black communities to learn not only the game of golf, but valuable life lessons along the way.
